James Madison University provides several resources and programs to help its prospective and returning students pay for their education. James Madison University provides students of all types with scholarships, grants, and other types of financial aid necessary to help navigate their educational goals from a financial perspective. There are resources for transfer students to navigate financial aid along with
graduate student financial aid resources. Grants that are institutional, commonwealth, and federal are also provided. Students must submit the FAFSA in order to be considered for any need-based aid.
